A MONTH into their take over of the Ipswich Animal Management Centre, the Animal Welfare League Queensland (AWLQ) said they were settling in on Hooper Street. 

AWLQ’s State Rehoming Manager, Melinda Phipps, said the organisation was pleased to return, after running the centre from 2011 to 2016. 

“We’re really excited to be back in the Ipswich rehoming centre,” she said. 

“We’ve stayed part of the community through our community vet clinic which is always really busy and supporting the Ipswich residents and their pets. 

“But now we’re really looking at expanding our support in Ipswich.
