WHEN Ray Watherston returned to Australia after serving in Vietnam in 1970, he said the cold reception he and others received prevented him marching again until the ’80s.
But the former Air Force veteran of 20 years said 21st Century conflicts had reminded people of the importance of remembering servicemen and women on Anzac Day.
