A MEET the candidates night will be held this evening at the Karalee State School at Arthur Summervilles Road.

Starting at 7pm and hosted by the Karalee Community Association, the forum looks likely to be the only meet the candidates forum for the Ipswich Division 4 by-election and will include meeting the candidates for the state seat of Ipswich West.

Also, prepolling is now open from 8am-6pm with prepoll booths at the Congregational Hall, 3 Jellicoe Street Brassall; Walloon Uniting Church, 19 Queen Street, Walloon; Whitehill Church, 219 Whitehill Road, Raceview; and Ipswich City Mall, 22 Nicholas Street, Ipswich.
