THE Rosewood State High School celebrated the annual Awards Night ceremony, recently.

Levi Hartigan was announced as the winner of the highest academic award, the title of Dux.

Levi achieved consistent high levels of achievement and across the past two years of senior study, he achieved 29, A Grades and 6, B Grades.

The school’s events and communication officer, Jacinta Harrison said that the Junior Dux Award was presented to Haylee Colgan, the Junior Principal Award was presented to Maximus Rayner and the Senior Principal’s Award was presented to Angus Milne.

“Academic Awards and Sports Awards were also presented to students across years 7 to 12, followed by special awards throughout all areas of study,” she said.

Special guests at the ceremony were Member for Ipswich West Jim Madden, Mrs Joyce Rieck, and members of the Rosewood Lions Club.
