SET with Australian flags and Aussie attire, families were invited to cool off while enjoying a fun day in the water at the Rosewood pool on Australia Day.

Traditionally part of the January 26 celebrations, the Council opened the pool for free.

Xander and Harley were there with their family and spent most of the day in the pool.

They said that it was “a really fun day” and they also ran into other friends they knew from school.

“Over the school holidays we have kept busy playing, seeing family and friends and getting ready to go back to school,” they said.

“We like Australia Day and spending it at the pool was a fun way to get ready to finish the holidays.”
