THE Haigslea State School community swapped their uniforms for creative and colourful costumes showcasing their favourite book character in line with this year’s Book Week theme, ‘Dreaming With Eyes Open’.
Adding to the special celebration, grandparents were invited to join in the fun as they were acknowledged by their families for all the love, care and hard work they dedicate to their grandchildren.
Principal, Andrew Sellick, said it was an amazing effort by all of the staff and the P&C Association, who assisted in making “this event a memorable moment for our school”.
