
Rosewood Bowls Club Life members Ede Bambling and Matt Dale were congratulated for their service to the Club by Australian Bowling Champion Kelvin Kerkow OAM and Club President Terry Hobden.

2019-2020 Triples Champions Ian King, Debbie Grantz and Karen Kington with the Singles and Pairs Champion for 2019-2020 Sean Keidge.

The 2019-2020 Fours Champions Ces and Karen Dawson were presented with their badges. Absent from their team were Denis Heaton and Doug Heathcote.

The 2020-2021 Singles Champion Rod Hogan.

The 2021-2022 Singles Champion Karen Kington with Rosewood Bowls Club Life Member Ede Bambling.

Alan Mader, Rosewood Bowls Club President Terry Hobden, Col Mc Bean and Gordon Williamson were presented with Veteran’s badges.

Club President Terry Hobden presented Greg James with the President’s Plate.
ROSEWOOD Bowls Club members were invited with their families to attend a unique presentation night last Friday (April 14).
The event was held to officially congratulate and present badges to the winners in the Club’s lawn bowls competitions which were held from 2019 through to 2022.
Special guests, Life Members Ede Bambling and Matt Dale and Australian Bowling Champion Kelvin Kerkow OAM were invited to join Club Terry Hobden in presenting the badges.
Mr Hobden expressed his gratitude to all members for their participation and support throughout the years of competition, saying that it was not only about winning but it was also just about giving it a go.
“This was the first presentation that the bowls club has held for many years, so to be able to come together and congratulate our members is really special,” he said.
“Our club has many talented bowlers, who should be really proud just as I am of their achievements.”
Ede Bambling and Matt Dale were also presented with a book in recognition of their lifelong service to the club and its members.
Guests enjoyed a hot food buffet following the presentations.
