Mutzelburg announces for Blair
1 min read

LNP Candidate Carl Mutzelburg has announced he will run for the seat of Blair in this year’s upcoming Federal Election.

Mr Mutzelburg is a business manager and has a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Business in Health Administration.

He has worked in health administration with Queensland Health and manages a primary production company and is a member of the Ipswich Rotary Club, is an Ipswich Park 2 Park volunteer, a cricket umpire and has been involved in high school breakfast and lunch programs.

Mr Mutzelburg has lived in Ipswich and Blair for 36 years.

“I am pleased to announce that I have been selected as the Liberal National Party candidate for Blair in the upcoming federal election,” Mr Mutzelburg said.

“This is the fastest-growing region in Queensland, yet funding for our infrastructure is among the lowest in the state.

“Labor has taken this region for granted for years, and their mismanagement of the economy has led to rising cost-of-living pressures that continue to divide our nation.

“I am proud to be part of the Liberal National team, which is actively addressing these issues.

“I look forward to seeing the region of Blair achieve its incredible potential under a Liberal National Government.”

Mr Mutzelburg said he has worked as a primary producer and ran nonprofit programs.

“In these roles I have been able to give people a hand when they need it most. Times are tough and now Australia needs a hand,” he said.

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton welcomed Mr Mutzelburg to his team.

“Carl is a fighter for his local community and will stand up for the people he is seeking to represent,” he said.

“I know he will work hard to win this crucial seat and help get our country back on track.”
