Upgrades at Rosewood High on track
1 min read

UPGRADES worth $16 million are underway at Rosewood State High School, including a new two-storey learning centre, bus bay upgrades and a new carpark.

Member for Ipswich West, Jim Madden, recently visited the site and said that despite the wet weather, the contractors were “doing a great job”.

“I’m sure the new facility will be welcomed by the school community.

“School Principal Nicole Sherlock, teachers, school staff, students and parents will benefit greatly from the new facilities and it is great to see progress moving forward.”

The new general learning centre building will include six learning spaces, staff rooms and associated spaces, staff and student amenities, a lift, air conditioning, storage and an undercroft with the capacity for future infill of six additional learning spaces.

The driveway and parking updates include a bus bay extension and associated pedestrian footpath and fence realignments and the construction of a new western carpark and associated crossovers.
