THE Rosewood Scrub Historical Society took the opportunity presented by the occasion of their AGM to acknowledge the outstanding service of their Treasurer, Frances Manz.          Members and visitors also welcomed special guests Ipswich Mayor Teresa Harding and Division 4 Councillors Russell Milligan and Kate Kunzelmann.  

Frances has been Treasurer of the Society for more than 25 years and during this time she has volunteered her time to ensuring the successful running of the committee

The 2022 committee was also elected with Susanne Ruijs as President, Nell Crouch as Vice President, Wendye Gratton as Secretary and Frances Manz as Treasurer.

Noela Blake, who is a former resident of Marburg, attended the meeting and presented the group with a copy of an original Rosewood Register and Marburg Mail newspaper that she had found among her belongings.
