MOTORSPORT will rev up in Ipswich this year with Supercars and Superbikes taking over the Willowbank circuit.
Supercars return through the Ipswich Super440, allowing fans to see the best in domestic two and four-wheel racing at Queensland Raceway.
The Supercars Championship and Australian Superbike Championship will both be in action at the Ipswich Motorsport Precinct from August 8-10.
It will be the first time Supercars has raced at “the Paperclip” track since 2019.
The event will feature Supercars stars of the future in action, competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series.
The Carrera Cup Australia and GR Cup series’ will also compete at the event, offering fans a wide range of motorsport action across the three days.
“We are thrilled to partner up with the ASBK Championship at the Ipswich Super440 in August 2025,” Supercars CEO Shane Howard said.
“Bringing our championships together has long been popular with fans of both series, and to do so at a heartland circuit like Queensland Raceway will make for a fantastic spectacle and a must-see event for race fans of all kinds.
“We are eagerly looking forward to bringing Supercars back to Queensland Raceway and seeing Australasia’s best in two and four-wheel racing put on a brilliant show at the 2025 Ipswich Super440.”
Among the notable names set to race at this year’s Ipswich Super440 include cousins Josh and Cam Waters.
Josh is the four-time and reigning ASBK champion. Cam was among last year’s frontrunning Ford star in Supercars.
“The championships share so many common values, and seeing the country’s premier car and bike categories performing together on the same weekend is truly a sight to behold,” Motorcycling Australia CEO Peter Doyle said.
