SOME of Ipswich’s brightest young theatre talents will take to the Ipswich Civic Centre stage for four

performances of the family-favourite Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr next month.

The Ipswich Musical Theatre Company Juniors production will star 24 performers aged eight to 16 years-old in the much loved magical stage tale.

Based on the 1968 film version of Ian Fleming’s children’s book and featuring music by the Sherman Brothers who also scored Mary Poppins, the show will be certain to be a crowd pleaser.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr will be staged on December 16 and 17.

Ipswich City Council provided $4,500 through the Community Events Funding Program to assist with production costs.
