WE must be in Disneyland. Ipswich City Council CEO Sonia Cooper has left herself wide open to being criticised for the “rushed” decision on Springview Village (Plans ‘rushed through’, Ipswich Tribune, March 27, P1).

The involvement of Mayor Teresa Harding is yet to be discovered, however I can’t see how she can’t at least have signed off on this historic memo.

Interesting to see Councillor Paul Tully expressing his concern. The councillors are showing no knowledge of “their approval”, having contacted a few.

I love this forest in question, 230 koalas must prepare for death along with my favourite native species threatened by this decision - the Greater Glider, which is critically endangered.

ROSEWOOD traffic was delayed on Friday while the semi loaded with the trusses for the new police station was positioned for delivery.
