LNP announces candidates
1 min read

BUSINESS owner Damien Culpeper has been selected by the LNP to run in the seat of Ipswich at next month’s state election.

Meanwhile, in Bundamba, ex-pastor Carl Mutzelberg looks to be the likely LNP candidate.

LNP Leader David Crisafulli said Queensland was heading in the wrong direction.

“Queenslanders are demanding change, and we stand ready to deliver,” he said.

“As someone who worked hard to buy his first business, Damien understands how current failures are costing families and small businesses,” Mr Crisafulli said.

Mr Culpeper said hard work and careful budget management “were hardwired into what he offered to his community”.

“Ipswich has been neglected for years and the list of challenges facing our city due to a lack of investment are just getting worse,” Mr Culpeper said.

“We need to stop the expensive failures forcing up costs for Ipswich families and small businesses.”
